Chickflicks was established by two accomplished film industry producers: Sara Risher, former President of Production, New Line Cinema, one of the most successful independent film studios of all time, and Stephanie Austin, veteran producer of numerous critical and box office hits.
Between them, Austin and Risher have developed, produced and/or supervised dozens of feature films of all budget sizes, consistently representing top quality production and commercial success.
They have joined forces to develop and produce a portfolio of up to 10 moderately-budgeted feature films produced over a period of five years.
Chickflicks films will be uniquely targeted at the large, influential, yet under-served female market.

HIGH SCHOOL SWEETHEARTS - Original screenplay by Colin McCormick. A satirical teen comedy that takes a hysterical look at the cliche of the perfect high school couple as they fall in love their freshman year, then slowly turn against each other to take down the entire school in their senior year.
JAPAN TOOK THE J.A.P. OUT OF ME - Screenplay by Lisa Fineberg Cook and Peter Daniel Cook. A charming, darkly funny and moving memoir that explores the culture shock and personal growth of a spoiled "Jewish American Princess" from Beverly Hills who moves to an industrial city in Japan two days after her wedding. Based on the 2010 memoir of the same title by Lisa Fineberg Cook.
DOWN, BOY! - Screenplay by Jillian Crane and Lisa Hamilton Daly. A romantic comedy about a young women who owns a doggie day spa. She develops a theory about training men and decides to test it out on a notoriously chauvinistic male video blogger. Inspired by the humor book, "DOWN, BOY! A Girl's Guide to Housebreaking a Man" by Lisa Hamilton
